What’s the Job? 

The Associate is a valued team member that primarily supports the Client Advisory team with increasing autonomy. Although this individual is not expected to manage client relationships or source/close new business, the Associate plays an important role assisting with client meeting preparation and follow up, providing the highest quality service to clients and client advisors.

What Will You Do? (this is what we know but expect the unexpected)

  • Play an important role on client advisory teams, assisting with client meeting preparation, follow-up and providing highest quality service to clients and client advisors;

  • Research, analysis and reporting using spreadsheets (including multi-scenario analysis and valuation analysis);

  • Assist client advisors with comprehensive analyses of client portfolio performance and other client-specific projects;

  • Assist in asset-allocation, portfolio rebalancing and asset-liability modeling projects;

  • Develop and implement strategies for divesting and/or protecting concentrated security positions;

  • Maintain current pulse of industry through research, conferences, networking events;

  • Continuously expand referral network, building Crestone's presence through frequent interaction and communication with external parties;

  • After an initial onboarding period, this role will attend client meetings to support primary advisor;

  • Support senior advisors on key business development activities, events, and meetings.

What Do You Need?

  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting and/or Business related field;

  • 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in the wealth management industry;

  • Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred;

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills;

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to be effective team player;

  • Sound judgment, ability to handle concurrent demands efficiently and to take ownership of results;

  • Basic understanding of wealth planning concepts required; knowledge of or interest in private alternative investment assets including hedge funds, private equity, direct real estate, and commodities preferred;

  • Advanced formatting skills;

  • Ability to present in front of a group;

  • Willingness to proficiently present in front of a group;

  • Ability to act under pressure and tight deadlines; ability to prioritize competing tasks and projects;

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with highest level of integrity.

The starting salary for this position is $80,000
