For over three decades, Eric has pioneered new approaches for delivering uniquely customized wealth management solutions to individuals and families who desire a more personalized way to pursue their life’s goals.

Since founding Crestone in 1991 (originally as the Eric J. Kramer Company), Eric has led the firm’s advancement of performance-driven investment management, financial and cash-flow planning, and wealth preservation strategies. He also oversees management of Crestone’s real estate investments.

Eric received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Colorado. 

Eric serves as chair of the Crestone Investment Committee.

Apart from Crestone, Eric serves on the board for the University of Colorado Foundation and is chairman of its Investment Policy Committee. He is also a member of YPO-WPO International.

What's the biggest challenge of working in wealth management?
The complexity of dealing with markets -- which is really crowd-behavior of humans -- and math, surrounding uncertain probabilities; and helping individuals master their own emotions surrounding money.

Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage - Shackleton led his team of 27 men through an incredibly long and arduous experience without losing a single person.
