As an analyst of client advisory, John is responsible for supporting client advisory in managing client portfolios, conducting research on investment and macroeconomic trends, as well as general financial analysis.
Prior to joining Crestone, John served as a summer analyst at JP Morgan Chase in the market risk division and was a treasury analyst at Frontier Airlines supporting risk management hedging activities.
John received his Bachelor of Science in finance and a Certificate of Commodities from the JP Morgan Center of Commodities.
John serves on the Crestone Impact Committee.
Apart from Crestone, John volunteers with the MindGym Foundation to help raise awareness and improve access to mental health treatment for underserved communities in and around the Denver Metro area.

What are you passionate about personally?
I am passionate about self-development and improvement in my personal and professional life. I am always looking to challenge myself and learn new things that will help me become a better friend, partner, and colleague. On top of that, I am passionate about raising awareness for mental health, helping redefine what mental health means to people, and emphasizing the importance of taking care of our brains.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I have a variety of hobbies including men’s ice hockey, snowboarding, hiking, exploring Colorado’s craft breweries, playing chess, and spending time with family and friends. You can also find me cheering on my favorite sports teams: The Ohio State Buckeyes, Seattle Seahawks, and Detroit Red Wings!
