Chief Operating Officer

Matt Wiles, CFP®

As Chief Operating Officer, Matt leads the day-to-day strategic operations and management of the firm. In addition to being responsible for the firm’s growth, team, and culture, Matt is actively involved in investment and client matters and oversees Operations, Accounting, Reporting and IT departments. In this role, he serves as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and executives and helps provide the best solutions to meet clients’ financial and personal objectives. Matt also serves on Crestone’s Executive and Investment Committees.

During his tenure at Crestone, Matt has served as Manager of Client Advisory Services and Senior Client Advisor before being promoted to Co-Director of Client Advisory Services. Before joining Crestone in 2007, Matt was an Associate of Client Management and Portfolio Development at Mount Yale Capital Group in Denver, Colorado. Prior to Mount Yale, Matt worked as an equity trader and research associate at Unicom Capital, LLC, a Denver-based hedge fund.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Colorado in 2001. He is a CFP® professional and a FINRA Registered Representative holding Series 7 and 66 licenses.

What do you love to do outside of work?
I love to spend time with my wife and three boys. I also enjoy running and playing golf.
