Norma Plache, Esq.

As an Executive Director of Family Wealth Planning and Shareholder of Crestone Capital, Norma works closely with the Managing Director of Family Wealth Planning and Client Advisory on clients’ estate planning, income tax planning, and related matters.

Prior to joining Crestone in 2010, Norma interned with the Boulder County Attorney’s Office, the Denver City Attorney’s Office, and Colorado Legal Services of Denver.

Norma earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010, where she served as an Associate Editor of the University of Colorado Law Review. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Law in taxation from the University of Denver in 2012. Norma earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama.

Norma is a member of the Trust & Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder County Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Thompson G. Marsh Inn of Court.


What do you love to do outside of work?
I love spending time with my husband Jeff and son Martin, hiking, gardening, and going out for sushi. I grew up in New Orleans and enjoy all types of Creole/Cajun food.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?
The ability to balance connecting with clients and having attention to detail and an analytical mind for the technical side of things.
What do you love most about being part of Crestone?
Getting to know our client families and working with them on complex estate and income tax planning strategies.
