What do you love most about being part of Crestone?
The people. Crestone brings together people with a variety of past experiences and expertise, all of whom enhance the offering of the firm.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
My curiosity. The investing landscape is always changing, which requires constant investigation of new ideas and approaches. As individuals and as a firm, we need to continually adapt and explore, which is one of the aspects of this career I enjoy most.
What’s the most influential book you’ve read?
One of the best books I’ve read recently is The Checklist Manifesto, by Atul Gawande. He demonstrates the benefits of checklists in a variety of fields, but more importantly examines how human nature and psychology influence our success. I think it provides valuable lessons for the investment world.
