As a leader in the CU-Boulder campus entrepreneurship initiative in addition to serving on the law faculty, his experience in this area is extensive. Entrepreneurship should be embraced and celebrated, he said, especially in Boulder, dubbed “America’s Most Creative City” by Richard Florida.
Phil expanded on the many ways Crestone employees could recognize the entrepreneur within to mentor others, to be more engaged at work, to participate in our communities, and to enhance our personal and professional lives. One way to do so is through Silicon Flatirons, of which Phil founded and Crestone is a sponsor. The organization inspires, prepares, and places students within the technology community to foster entrepreneurship and creative thinking.
