As the chief operating officer and a member of the executive leadership team, Matt leads the day-to-day strategic operations and management of the firm.

In addition to being responsible for the firm’s growth, team, and culture, Matt is actively involved in investment and client matters and oversees client advisory, business operations, and business intelligence departments. In this role, he serves as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and executives and helps provide the best solutions to meet clients’ financial and personal objectives.

During his tenure at Crestone, Matt has served as manager of client advisory services and senior client advisor before being promoted to co-director of client advisory. Prior to joining Crestone, Matt was an associate of client management and portfolio development at Mount Yale Capital Group in Denver, Colorado. Before his role at Mount Yale, Matt worked as an equity trader and research associate at Unicom Capital, LLC, a Denver-based hedge fund.

Matt received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Matt serves on the Crestone Investment Committee and Risk Committee.

I love to spend time with my wife and three boys. I also enjoy running and playing golf.
